Legacy Meets Ethernet
Proven MVB subsystems join Ethernet-based TRDP consist networks without redesign, so a modernized TCMS talks to equipment that has already earned its reliability record.
Every specification here is proven by our own engineers. Bacancy Systems' rolling stock team designs, populates, and tests each board in-house at Ahmedabad, backed by 16+ years of embedded engineering across EN 50155, IEC 61375, and mission-critical rail electronics. It is world-class railway technology, engineered in India and built to serve fleets anywhere.

A train network upgrade should not force a subsystem replacement program. We built the gateway that lets MVB / TRDP / CAN coexist on one consist, one telegram at a time.
Proven MVB subsystems join Ethernet-based TRDP consist networks without redesign, so a modernized TCMS talks to equipment that has already earned its reliability record.
Both cyclic process data and on-demand message data map cleanly between MVB / TRDP / CAN under the Train Communication Network standard, keeping telegram semantics intact end to end.
Mid-life upgrade programs keep their subsystem suppliers and wiring while the backbone moves to Ethernet, cutting both retrofit cost and out-of-service time.
Built for the temperature, shock, vibration, and EMC realities of rail service, so the bridge between your networks is as dependable as the subsystems on either side.
The module pairs with the Bacancy Systems TCMS Unit, TCMS Simulator, and TRDP System Validator, so one Indian manufacturer covers control, communication, and validation.
Wherever an Ethernet backbone meets a proven MVB subsystem, the gateway carries the conversation, in retrofit rakes, new builds with legacy suppliers, and the test benches that validate both.

The Multifunction Vehicle Bus (MVB) is the serial communication bus defined in the IEC 61375 Train Communication Network family. It connects subsystems within a rail vehicle, such as traction, braking, doors, and HVAC, and has been the workhorse of train control networks for decades of rolling stock.
The Train Real-time Data Protocol (TRDP) is the Ethernet-based communication protocol standardized under IEC 61375 for modern train networks. It carries both cyclic process data and on-demand message data between rolling stock subsystems over standard Ethernet infrastructure.
Fleets rarely modernize all at once. A gateway lets proven MVB subsystems keep running while the consist network moves to Ethernet-based TRDP, so operators retrofit the TCMS and network without replacing every subsystem supplier at the same time.
Yes. The module is engineered to EN 50155, the international standard for electronic equipment on rolling stock, covering the temperature, humidity, shock, vibration, and EMC conditions of rail service.
